Hello i just submitted a question but also, are we allowed to have tatoos on our bodies? I have one on my forearm of a lion with a Khanda on it. I am 20 years old, i really admire it on my arm and feel proud of it. It sometimes riminds me of Sikh history. I am thinking of getting another one, but am not sure if it is allowed. I filtered through the Q&A but did not read a response that i could relate to. Thank you!

There have been several messages on this subject that you didn't seem to like. So I'm not sure why you are asking. If you are going to do what you want anyway, why ask?
1. It's not how your body was created. You are telling God "You did an OK job, but I can do better". Every thing I've read says that singing God's praises is better than the alternative.
2. It's not good for the meridian points where it is imprinted. You are putting a permanent source of toxicity into your bodies' energy system. It is not good for your health, long term.
3. Did you know that every cell in the body is individually regulated by the brain? Putting that toxic substance there has to affect the whole body.
4. It comes under not altering the body in Rehit Maryada. We are told not to because of how it affects us, not so someone can feel powerful telling people what they can and can't do.

If you still want to do it, no one is stopping you. Have fun. Your body is your precious gift from God that you earned over millions of incarnations. If you think that is an appropriate thing to do to it, halelluyah!
