Summary of Question:No Female Given Prasad When Given Panj Payaray?

I was wondering, why is dat when da darbar finishes, and b4 the singhs begin to give karah prasad to sangat, why is dat they give prasad to five ppl who are ALL MALE? I know that they give prasad to five ppl like givn it to Panj Payray first, but all i dnt understand is dat Y isnt it dat NO FEMALE is given prasad out of the five ppl???? why is it all males????????? Its so unfair!

The first panj piaray were all male. Some gurdwaras believe thus that giving the prasad to a panj at gurdwara means the panj needs to be all male. This is not so. Many gurdwaras do indeed give the panj prasad to females as well. Guru Gobind Singh did not just give the rehit to men, contrary to common thinking.

I recommend you inspire your gurdwara to include women in the panj when giving prasad after darbar services.
