Sat nam. Congratulations on holding to your principles despite parental pressure! Being vegetarian is not the reason you are short. Being short is a function of genetics, not just diet. You are still young and have not finished growing or having growth spurts.
This is not the place to go into details about how to be a vegetarian. You can search vegetarian recipes on the web. Make sure you are getting enough protein by eating yogurt, milk, or cheese. Eating dal and rice or dal and chapati is also 'complete' protein, but be sure you eat enough. The teenage body needs food to grow and develop. Eat food that is good for you and eat enough until you are no longer hungry. Nuts and soy products are also good protein sources.
