Sat Siri Akal Ji:

The kesh symbolizes we keep our bodies as God gave them, without alteration.
Kanga means we keep our kesh neat (and in a larger sense, is a symbol of keeping our whole appearance neat)
Kirpan symbolizes we are ready to fight for truth or to defend someone weaker than ourselves.
Kacheras symbolize keeping chaste except in the context of marriage; no sex outside of marriage, no running around with different sexual partners, etc.
Kara symbolizes our devotion to God & Guru. Some of us liken kara to a wedding ring.
Guru Rakha,
-DKK
