My dear one,
Please go ahead and take the Amrit!!!.
You do this out of your love and desire to be attached to God through the SGGS.
The Guru becomes your ally and special friend. You just need a little practical problem solving.

There is no guilt thing about missing a bani and then having to do some penance.
The bani's are given to us to help us master our selves and our lives. They are a technology of enriching the spirit and face of the human. If you forget you will be covered by God's grace. If you have a problem with memory and time management, then you can make a check sheet and a schedule. This way you plan your daily Jaap to fit it into your schedule and then you can check off the bani on a check sheet each time you complete the recitation.

Blessings to you with love,
SKKK
