on her and call her a "sellout", and some wouldn't be friends with her because of this. Should religous Sikhs treat girls dating non-Sikhs the same as Sikh girls dating Sikh guys?
Thats a very good question. I myself am a man and a sikh, and I'm married to a non sikh woman. I would hope that people would treat her and myself with the same respect that every Human Being deserves. Sometimes that is not the case. It's important to understand that all sorts of people have all sorts of prejudices, for covering up their own neurosis or shortcomings. Those same people often dont realize that their subconcious mind is affecting other people around them. So to answer your question... no it not ok for any one to treat anyone with any less consideration than they deserve. Sometimes it is ok to let go of our Bias's and move on. Calling anyone a sellout because of their preferences is not an action of Truth. I hope that this answer was a help. Thank You
