Waheguru ji ka khalsa

Waheguru ji ki fateh

I have really long hair in my senior year. Everyone who pass by turn back and look at my hair. Especially one girl whose class is on the other corner of the floor, whenever I pass by, she starts gossiping about my long hair with her friends. Sometimes, some girls in my class, they ask me "So Pardip you're never gonna cut your hair" or even "What's your goal that you can set a world record of keeping longest hair". I just smile back and don't say much.Even some of my chinese teachers, they tease me. My close friends appreciate my hair they do say my hair are really nice. Some girls also touch my hair and I really don't like when they touch with their "jhuthey hath". In my opinion, my hair aren't that long as they seem to make a big deal of. I love my hair, they're silky long black hair and when I open my hair, I really get comfy in them. :-D

Sometimes my friend tease me that "what am I going to do with my "poouch". Couple of months ago, I started doing a "kareyla" to school and then not many people took notice of my hair but still sometimes they come by and appreciate how detailed it's braided. But the problem is which doing a kareyla is that after doing kareyla it made my hair even longer. My hair touches just above my knees. I don't want them to go any more. Any suggestions. Also my hair always falls off. I honestly am surprised that the amount of my fallen hair is like a quarter of what I have on my head. I really don't want my hair to fall off. What should I do?

Since my hair are long, I always need help braiding them when I go to school in the morning. I feel childish that I can't braid them myself perfectly :-D. Is it okay for a true sikh to braid their hair than to tie them up into a dhumala? I have more questions to ask but for now I think these are enough. I hope to get some answers soon. I know we should be the answers ourselves than being the questions...but still. Sorry

Blessings to you,

Hair is antenna and a source of energy as well as sexual attractivity.
When your hair is open you are open. When you are in public you can contain your hairs very nicely.

Guru Gobind SIngh gave us the best way to keep our hair long, clean, and out
of the way of so many people's comments and concerns. He gave us the joora and the turban. So many Indian Sikh women do not tie a turban but have taken Amrit.
This is a puzzle to me because the benefit of the rishi knot and the turban are not available to those women.

Your antenna's (hairs) are flying about and scattering your energy.
Do put your hair up nicely every day. Getting help to braid your hair is not a problem. Take your braids and put them into a beautiful bun on your head.
This will solve a lot of your problems of people noticing and commenting.

When you are ready to put on a turban, Sikhnet has some mp3's for you to follow.

Blessings,
SKKK
