Summary of Question: | Amrit & Inter Religious Marriage |
Category: | Love & Marriage |

I am a 21 yr old girl(south Indian hindu) & love a Sikh boy(same age).
We are both very religious & participate in both religious activities.
He has not taken amrit as yet due to time shortage to follow the daily
rituals but plans to do so in future.I would like to know if our married
life will be affected if he takes amrit? What are the rules for a Sikh to
follow after taking amrit, especially with his non-Sikh wife?
Kindly help us with this doubt.Thank you.

Dear One:
There are no special rules involving non-Sikh wives of Sikh men. Said differently, the rules an Amritdhari Sikh follows are the same whether he is married to a Sikh or not. You can search this site under "rehit" (also "rehat") to find out the rules Amritdhari Sikhs follow.
God bless you,
