Summary of Question:	can sikh girls shave their legs and underarms to wear dresses and singlet tops?

me and my friends were having a conversation at school during lunch time and the subject of sikh girls shaving their legs came up but i didn't know what to say. with new fashion and all it is hard to not shave eg, 3/4 pants show a litle bit of the legs and singlet tops don't cover the arms at all. so my question is: can sikh girls shave their legs and underarms so that i can go to school and answer my freinds question.

The hair on the body is all there for a reason. You are not to cut the hairs anywhere on your body.
All these *friends* that you want to impress will not be with you through your life. They definitely won't be there when you breath your last and have to face Guru Gobind Singh and Akal Purkh.
