Many Sikhs say dat dey don't believe in castes, and i agree to dat. But what concerns me is dat da ****** INdian Government is trying to get rid of us Jats. Jatts have been protecting India and most of the Shahadees are jatts and they were proud to say that they are jatts.

My question is simple can i be proud to say dat im a jatt sikh? Would this concern any Sikh?

(REPLY) Sat Nam. "A Sikh is a Sikh is a Sikh" To differentiate between "types of Sikhs" is to weaken the sum total of all Sikhs. Be proud to be a son of Guru Gobind Singh. Be proud to wear bana. Be proud to be kind to all, and to serve all. This is the year 2003, it is a time when the Universal teachings of Guru Nanak need to be spread to the whole world. Let us not limit our understanding of what it means to be a Sikh, but rather let us live in the present to make the future bright for all of humanity. Sikhs are not limited to India, make no mistake!
