I have Guru Ji photos in Guru Maharaj room in our house. Someone said to me that you sould not put these photos coz the Guruji Prakash is right in front of you and you don't need to hang these photos. Do I need to take down all the photos? Please advise me.

This is easy. Hindu's worship statues. We do not. But having a set of pictures of the ten Guru is quite fine. There are many beautiful and inspiring sets.
I have beautiful photo's of the Guru's all over my house. They inspire me and uplift my thoughts.
In your Baba-ji's room it is OK to have pictures of ther Guru's. Simply do not put any one of them in front of your Guru, so when you bow to the Siri Guru Granth Sahib, you are bowing to the Guru and not to a picture.
