wahe guru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh

i have a skin problem called psorisis but luckily it has been restricted to my scalp. i have been suffering from this problem since the last 5 years. my doctor is a sikh and he had asked me to wash my hair every day. last month i could not continue with this and i cut my hair. even now i have to keep it extremely short (a crew cut) otherwise the infection starts spreading to the rest of the body. i tried to fight the problem but practically it became very difficult to wash my long hair everyday and i lost time for other activities
i still keep a beard and always tie a turban whenever i go out.however my actiond have disappointed some very close relatives who still felt i should not have cut my hair.
was i wrong because even with my shot hair the infection has not been cured

i hope i get a reply to my query

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!
You did what you thought was best for getting well from a medical condition, and I cannot fault you. I do not think you were wrong, but I am saddened that you got so disheartened you felt a need to cut your hair. I know how heard it is to deal with a long-term medical problem.

Now I am concerned that you won't grow your hair back because you still have an infection. Consider doing a lot of Internet research and seeing other doctors who can help you get information/a handle on this problem. It seems that the 'cause' of the problem has not been addressed, only the symptoms. Perhaps someone reading this will have some ideas or experience with it as well. BTW, the correct spelling is psoriasis for your internet research. Guru ang sang,
