Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

I'M 17, AND I THINK I'M FAT? OK WELL DURING MY EXAMS, I JUST KEPT ON EATING WHATEVER CAME INTO MY HAND! AND NOW I CAN SEE WHERE ALL THE FOOD HAS LANDED (STOMACH, ARMS AND LEGS) AND NOW IM GETTING STRESSED OVER IT! I KNOW ITS MY FAULT FOR EATING JINK FOOD RECENTLY BUT I JUST CAN'T HELP IT. WHEN I WAS YOUNGER I ALWAYS USED TO BE THE 'ENERGETIC ONE' OUT OF ALL MY SISTERS. BUT NOW I CAN'T BE BOTHERED TO GO OUT AND EXERCISE. I ASKED MY FRIENDS IF THEY THOUGHT I PUT ON WEIGHT (AND U KNOW FRIENDS THEY JUST LIE ABOUT IT) THEY ALL SAID NO! SO WHEN I ASKED MY SISTERS THEY SAID, 'WELL YOU CAN TELL WHERE UVE PUT THE WEIGHT, AROUND YOUR FACE'...! I AM GOING TO HAVE TO DO SOMETHING TO HELP ME CONCERNTRATE MORE ON EXAMS THAN MY WEIGHT. PLEASE HELP ME IF YOU CAN!!!!

It is a vicious cycle. We sit around and eat and then don't want to exercise...so we sit around and eat some more. To break the cycle, you just have to start. Maybe you can find a walking/exercise partner. The more you exercise, the less you'll want to eat. What you eat is also very important. Foods with fats, carbohydrates, sugar and processed foods are the worst. Fresh fruits and vegetables are the best. The most important thing is just to start, even if it is just walking 30 minutes a day. Trick your self into doing it. Give your self healthy rewards for doing it...like a hot bubble bath, visiting someone you have wanted to for a while...be creative in figuring out healthy rewards for yourself. Then, Increase your exercise time and healthy diet; pretty soon you'll feel so great that that will be reward enough. GTKK
