Sat Sri Akal Ji,

I wanted to know if you knew of a decent book that details the lifes of all oue Guru's? I have looked around but keep finding those books that are meant for children. I wanted something that would be inspirational and a good read.

thanking you for ur time
(REPLY) The most comprehensive work on the lives of the Gurus was written by Macauliffe. It is called "The Sikh Religion." I would not say that you will find it a "good read" because it was written some years ago by an Englishman. However, the material in it is excellent. He includes many quotes from Siri Guru Granth Sahib -- so it's a lengthy work -- two huge volumes (in 4 parts total) but so far it's the best thing we've found. I hope that someone will write a book even more "reader friendly" as you are requesting. Meanwhile, Macauliffe's book is the best available. Blessings, SP
