Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ke Fateh

i was wondering if you could give me some web sites or book titles on sikh history. i would like to know more about the wars we, sikhs, had to face, and why we had to face them. Example: someplace to teach me more about the destruction of the golden temple at indera ghandi's command.

You could try a website called the Burning Punjab. They have some great articles about the whole operation bluestar, and the subsequent mess in 84'. Also you can use the following search engine to find really great information on Sikh history; Google .com. There are also links from Sikhnet that can get you to some incredible sites about the stories of Martyrs and great Sikh Warriors. Thanks
