Sat Sri Akaal.

I have a good friend who is severely epileptic. Without her medication she can have several grand-mal seizures a day. The drugs make her kind of dopey sometimes. Nonetheless, I want this woman to help lead me to my man on our wedding day. Is it disrespectful to Guruji to have her enter the temple while on such medication? There will be a photographer and the flash can cause a seizure.

Sat Siri Akal! Elizabeth. It is not the taking of drugs that is a problem. It is the taking of drugs with the intent of becoming intoxicated that is the problem. A medicine taken simply to allieviate a medical condition is no problem. By all means have you friend take her medicine.
