Summary of Question:	What Has Keeping Ur Hair Uncut Got To Do With Anything?

Before everyone gets crazy n starts jumping down my throat..all I wanna know is why hair plays such an important part in sikhi...? If god is a formless, fearless power..then how could GOD have given the guru's a message to say that you gotta keep ur hair etc etc...or any messages for that matter. If GOD cannot physically speak..then how come the Gurus 'heard' these messages..and why would god suggest something as bizarre as leeping ur hair long? Im not trying to offend anyone, im just frustrated at being looked at differently by my husbands family because I cut my hair and they dont.

You made a choice to cut your hair. If you have done your research and decided that long hair is not relevant to you, then the judgement of your in-law's family should not affect you.

Please check out the great resources on Sikhnet and study the effects of short and long hair. Then meditate daily and sit with your knowledge and let it all percolate within your intuitive self so you can have peace of MIND. Now you are in duality and that is torturing you.
