Summary of Question:meaning of Dukh Bhanjani Sahib prayers
Category:Other
Date Posted:Thursday, 6/22/2000 10:45 PM MDT

Hi there! I was wondering if you can help me with some

information. I have been looking through all the websites on Sikhism
and I can't seem to find anything on Dukh Bhanjani Sahib. I have the
romanised text with me but I am interested to know the MEANING of this
beautiful prayer.

There seems to be a lot of information/history about Sikhism but there
seems to be so little on the meaning of certain prayers. I believe
there are many people out there who are interested and who hunger for
information about the Guru Granth Sahib - the meaning/understanding of
the prayers. Wouldn't it be great if we could all get it from the net?
Thanks.

The complete text of the Siri Guru Granth Sahib translated to English is available on Sikhnet. There is also a document containing all the words in the Siri Guru Granth Sahib (in Gurmukhi), so if you don't know how to spell a word, you can look for it in that document and then search for it in the Siri Guru Granth Sahib.
Good luck.
Humbly,
Mangala Sadhu Sangeet Singh
