Category: | Gurdwara |

I was at a Gurdwara in Bedford UK it was called Gurdwara Guru Ravi Das Ji, and the Nishan Sahib Ji was not the Khalsa orange couler with a khanda and an Ik Onkar on it but a very pale orange with the word HAR written on it in punjabi.
I was woindering if we as Sikhs beleive in The ten Living Gurus and th eternal Guru Guru Granth Sahib Ji then why do we have a Bhagat called Guru Ravi Das Ji?
Thank you

Sat nam. It's time for you to actually STUDY Siri Guru Granth Sahib. Bhagat Ravi Das has bani incorporated throughout Siri Guru Granth Sahib. Guru Arjan Dev himself included it. The gurdwara and guru sahib you describe is perfectly legitimate. While the Bhagat was not a Guru, his poetry has become part of Gurbani. Sikhs worship SHABD GURU, not physical gurus. You can find the entire SGGS off the www.sikhnet.com homepage. Get to work!
