September 11th Events
SikhNet would like to encourage the greater Sikh community to be visible and present at community events and memorials surrounding the September 11th attacks in New York City and Washington DC. Your presence, warmth, kindness and support at these events is the best education and outreach effort the Sikh community can make. Please take the time to be together with others, to touch them with your light so that all people may come to know who Sikhs are and what our identity truly represents. We also encourage those attending events in the United States to wear red, white and blue to show your solidarity with your fellow Americans.
