My sister has just completed the reading of the Guru Granth Sahib ji in english translation. If you read the complete Guru Granth Sahib ji in Gurmukhi, it is usual to do a "path da bhog" after the completion. This is usually done in a Gurdwara after which Anand Sahib is sung and a hukumnama taken. The person concerned will also sponsor the "deg" for the service.
After completeing the reading of the Guru Granth Singh ji in english translation, does the same procedure applied? Would be grateful for your advise.
regards & best wishes

Sat Nam! Yes, it is appropriate to perform the Bhog ceremony at the completion of the Akand Path whether the reading has been done in Gurmukhi, English or a combination of both Gurmukhi and English. By all means, perform the Bhog. It does not have to be at the Gurdwara. It can be at your home where Babaji is installed. Aarti, Anand Sahib, aardas and hukum are done after the Rag Mala and first 5 pauris of Japji.
