i've been learning a fair bit about islam through muslim friends of mine. she was talking about when a muslim person sins, they go to hell. do sikhs have a version of this too?

is it fair for me to say that we believe that God is all forgiving and that any mistakes we make can be rectified by doing a good deed? how come muslims dont believe in this?

Hell is first what you create for yourself here in life, which produces certain karmas. Good actions make good karmas, bad actions make painful karmas, which you reap here in life and which will follow you into the next life. It is not our job to judge another religion. What ever someone believes is sacred to them. What is important is what you belive for you and your life. Think about it. GTKK
