* Are you willing to die for your Guru?

* Are you willing to LIVE for your Guru?

* Are you willing to give you HEAD [Mind, Body & Soul] to the Guru?

We should all try to remember the story of Vaisakhi 1699, when Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaaj asked for a head. He didn't ask for a man, a woman, someone who can recite the Panj Baania or able to weild a sword.

Guru Ji simply asked for a head.

Bhai Daya Ram was willing to die for the Guru!
Bhai Daya Ram was willing to live for the Guru!
Bhai Daya Ram was willing to give his head, heart and soul to the Guru!

He was willing to accept Guru Gobind Singh Ji as his [Spiritual]Father!
He was willing to accept Mata Sahib Kaur Ji as his [Spiritual]Mother!
He was willing to accept the Khalsa as his Family!

Just look at his name - "DAYA" = Compassion.

Do you have DAYA (Compassion) for Guru Ji, for Sikhi and for the REHAT (discipline)?

If so, then there is your answer to taking Amrit.

May Akaal Purkh bless you!
