Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!

here's a shabad for EVERYONE...after reading this, you'll feel MUCh better! I guarantee it!

It's in Raag Bhairo, written by our awesome 5th Guru, Guru Arjan Dev Ji..it's on page 1140 of Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

Tao kaReeai jay hovai baahar
We should feel sad, if we forget the Lord.

Tao kaReeai jay visrai narhar
We should feel sad, if we forget the Lord.

Tao kaReeai jay doojaa bhaa-ay
We should feel said, if we are in love with duality.

Kia KaReeai jaa(n) raheaa samaa-ay
But why should we feel sad? The Lord is pervading everywhere.

Maaeaa moh kaRay kaR pacheaa
In love and attachment to Maya, the mortals are sad, and are consumed by sadness.

Bin naavai bhram bhram bhram khapeaa. Rahaao
Without the Name, they wander and wander and wander, and waste away. Pause.

Tao kaReeai jay doojaa kartaa
We should feel sad if there were another Creator Lord.

Tao KaReeai jay aniaa-ay ko marta
We should feel sad, if someone dies by injustice.

Tao KaReeai jay kichh jaaNai naahee
We should feel sad, if something were not known to the Lord.

Kiaa kaReeai jaa(n) bharpoor samaahee
But why should we feel said? The Lord is totally permeating everywhere.

Tao kaReeai jay kichh hoy dhin(g)aaNai
We should feel sad, if God were a tyrant.

Tao kaReeai jay bhool ranjjaaNai
We should feel sad, if He made us suffer by mistake.

Gur kaheaa jo hoy sabh prabh tay
The Guru says that whatever happens is all by God's Will.

Tab kaaRaa chhodd achint ham sotay
So I have abandoned sadness, and I now sleep without anxiety.

Prabh toohai THaakur sabh ko tera
O God, You alone are my Lord and Master, all belongs to You.

Jio Bhaavai tio kareh niberaa
According to Your Will, You pass judgement.

Duteaa naast ik raheaa samaa-ay
There is no other at all, the One Lord is permeating and pervading everywhere.

Raakho paij naanak sarNaa-ay
Please save Nanak's honor; I have come to your Sanctuary.

(REPLY) Sat Nam. Thank you for sharing this. Blessings, SP

----still sad???
:)
also..i really like this one line from this OTHER shabad...think about this next time you hear about someone passing away, returning back to where they came from (Waheguru).

"MaraN na mandaa lokaa aakheeai jay mar jaaNai aisaa koy"
~Death would not be called bad, O people, if one knew now to truly die.~
-Raag Vaddhans, written by Guru Nanak Dev Jee, page 579.
Waheguru!
Waheguru ji ka Khalsa Waheguru ji ki Fateh
