Hey...i have a question, and that is,

i was very small , out of curousity i trimmed my hair..its been 15 years and my hair is till my hips now (i got it trimmed in 2001 again) .....my parents both told me to keep it then, cuz i remember it very clearly....i am a tom boy...and i never really get the good feeling abt my hair....
i cry at every mention of babajii and if i am reading sum spritual litrature i cry,...i dunno y..i feel like running away and being with him....i dont belong here,,,...this place isnt for me...and still...wen i noe its wrong...i still want to cut my hair.... it isnt the matter of me cutting it...its abt who U r ...rite...i know taht u said, "babajii gave us hair, and its has to be for our own good...... i love babajii, and cant spend a minute not thinkin abt him...he is everywhere...i just wish that i was with him.... i recently left meat...(been a mth) and i am planning on not eating an egg (is it bad for our soul???)
sicne i was a small child i never liked my hair long, its not becuz of "fashion and pressure" but i get this feeling....but wud it make a difference? i mean in a way, i have cut my hair....(trimming is cutting) IN THE end, our body wudnt cum with us, nor will our belongings, its our soul who will recarnate...and meet the divine lord...i luv him...i have to find my self b 4 i find him...
please answer my question...

Sat Sri Akal,

If you want to be a real Sikh, then you can't cut your hair, or even trim it. If you want to be close to the Guru it is very easy! Just sit cross legged, close your eyes and recite "Waheguru, Waheguru" to yourself softly. Try to take all other thoughts out of your mind, just remember Waheguru.

One other thing, we keep our hair not necessarily because god gave it them to us but because Guru Gobind Singh Ji said so. That is all, the Guruji said to keep your hair so keep your hair. A Sikh needs no other explanation.
