waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh

something happened in my neighbourhood and people were telling them that it is god's wish. now my question to you is that anything bad or good happen's with god's wish? what happen in my neighbourhood is bad and god will never do bad with his/her kids. explain to me. how people say GOD HAS DONE THIS

As Sikhs, the Siri Guru Granth Sahib says that all is God's Will. That does not mean that we become victims and accept what ever happens. Some times "bad" things happen to get us to stand up and take a stand for change. Slavery of any kind is "bad," but now we have an Afro-American President in the US. This didn't just happen. It was because of the efforts and courage of many, many people, Black and White.

It is often hard to see the good in bad, but with faith and courage, we can. Some times it takes a long time. Michael J. Fox has Parkinson's Disease. It seems like a tragedy, but because of his status as an actor, he has been able to accomplish much for stem-cell research. Instead of becoming a bitter victim of his condition, he has made it into an opportunity for personal growth and to help countless others who suffer.

I'm sure you can see such examples all around you. In our own life, you probably have had something happen to you that seemed like a tragedy at the time, but that ended up changing you for the better.

Happy Baisakhi Day. It is a time for rebirth. Humbly, JJK
