waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ki fateh!

i was just wondering about a certain part of Khalsa Rehit: kacchera.

when two Gursikhs get married, and live their lives with complete truth and devotion for Guru Sahib Ji, what happens when they make love? more specifically, a Gursikh doesn't even take off their kakaars when they bathe, right? according to Dhan Guru Sahib's Rehit, our kakaars NEVER leave our body. so when two Gursikhs are making love, do they take their kakaars off, then? our kacchera are a part of our resistance to "kaam" (lust), i understand that much. But, when you are married, and you truly love your partner, is it still lust to want to "be" with them? "ek jot, doe murti" - one soul in two bodies - is it wrong for one to leave his/her kachera off if it's a part of you (in a way) that you are physically joining together?

Greetings and blessings to you in the Name of God and Guru.

You have it half right. When you do devotional bathing, i.e. dipping in the nectar tank etc, you keep your 5 kaka's on you. However, when you are resting at home, bathing, sleeping,lovemaking, it is fine to take your kanga, and kirpan, and place it in a clean and respectful place nearby, like, the night table or on an alter or in front of the Guru. You have to wash your katchera and put them into the laundry.

So, be practical and live practically. It is great to be enthusiastic but also be practical and enjoy your maried life together with your wife.
