I also agree. The prolem is that many people of the religion don't realize exactly what it means to be a khalsa. A khalsa loses all self-identity and becomes one of God's servants under its direct control. Therefore, all ties to a blood family are given up (the Khalsa take first priority). Those that are truly immersed into the Khalsa panth are those who see no difference between one person and another much less such minute things as castes.

These people also seem to forget that it is caste that had persecuted their families many generations before.
