Hi, I was going through a website and there I found this video. The person in this video was saying that red and green are prohibited to wear. Is that true? Please share some viewpoints about this. I'm anxious to know because I have many clothing which are mostly red and I feel like I'm not being a true sikh. I think every colour has a certain engery. I love green colour not to wear but to gaze at. Biologically green colour is good for our sight. But this I am a little confused.

You are correct. Colors have great significance and impact on us.
Many of us wear white because it contains all the colors of the spectrum in perfect balance. Therefore it has a calming and balancing effect on the wearer.

There is nothing in Sikhism that prohibits red and green. Colors are so expressive in Punjabi culture in all the brightly colored turbans and suits.

Yes, the green of the grass and trees is very soothing and healing. Har...is personified by the color green.
