I have a very silly question but please humour me.
Waheguru, Allah Hoo, is love. He is your one true love, you hearts dearest desire. True happiness. Or so I've heard. It seems like most times people fall in love they never know they are. How do you know when you fall in love with your Beloved?
The love of God seems to me to be very sexual yet pure at the same time. Are there any verses in the Guru Granth or other books by Sufi Sants that I can read that can help me find this mystical love?
Thank You.
Jas

Dear Jas:
Sat Siri Akaal. Sorry for the delay.
You are right about mystical love, it seems sexual and yet is the highest experience one can have. The ENTIRE Siri Guru Granth Sahib repeats AGAIN and AGAIN the concept of the human as the Soul-bride to the Guru, and SGGS describes, AGAIN and AGAIN, this experience of the Soul-bride being decorated by her Lord, of the Soul-bride preparing her couch and seeing her mind dyed crimson in the experience of the Naam (God's love). You can see this concept condensed in the bani called "Shabd Hazaray" which is usually recited after Japji Sahib. I know the writings of Sufi sant Rumi also describe this ecstasy.
But to KNOW it you have to practice the Naam, and repeat Gurmantra in meditation. It is not an overnight process, at least not usually. But I promise you will begin to experience (some of the) mystical bliss described if you continue to practice the Naam with sincerity and devotion and as meditation.
Guru rakha,
