For the fellow who wants to find a way to teach his kids Panjabi... my husband and I have a Panjabi-only day each week where we do our prayers, and as much conversation as we can, all in Panjabi. We are learning from books and have no access to real language courses; and our Gurudwara has classes only in Bani for the children, with little emphasis on grammar. Maybe the kids would get into an all-Panjabi day too; teach them animal names at the zoo, the planets at a museum etc, go for regional food for lunch and everything. Lots of luck, and I hope the kids dig it as much as my man and I do!
