i am continuing my question on which paath to do when
actually i am very very confused about when o do which paath
i am not clear in my mind that which paaths come in nitem and which i should do everyday
in some gutkas it is written that :-
morning prayers are-
japji sahib
shabad hazare
jaap sahib
tav prasad svaya
anand sahib should be done every morning
evening prayers are-
rehras sahib
banti chaupai should be done in the evening
bed time prayers are-
kirtan sohila

in other gutka it is writtem that:-
morning prayers are-
japji sahib
jaap sahib
tva prasad svaya
evening prayers are-
rehras sahib
bed time prayers are-
rakha de shabad
kirtan sohela should be done at bed time

in my gutka there are two types of svayas are given and i donn't know that which of them to do and when
in my gutka there are two types of sabad hazare given and i donn't know which of them to do and when

please guide me that which paath i should do and when?
i asked my parents and grandparents also and they themselves are confused
i donn't understand why in different gutkas there is different order of paaths given

please tell me the right order of paaths which should be done and correctly which baanis come in nitnem

i also donn't know when to do chaupayi sahib,anand sahib,tva prasad svaya,raksha de shabad,bara maha manjh and basant ki vaar

when i ask my parents and grandparebts about this confusion all of them tell me different baanis
i got more confuse so i am asking for ur help
i discussed about this with my cousins and my sikh friends and they too are confused on this
so we all decided to ask u this question
hope u undestood what i wanted to say and will guide us to the right paath

The correct bani's can be found in the "Rehit Maryada" published by the SGPC. You can view it on their website: http://www.sikhs.org/rehit.htm

The basic nitnem is Jap Ji, Jaap Sahib, Swaaya's and Anand Sahib in a.m. Rehiras at evening time and Kirtan Sohila at night. If you have time you can do more.

The variations in the nitnem stem from the local conditions and usage varying from village to village.
