'If live your life in trying to become One, then you will again be reincarnated as a human so you can continue to become truly one with Waheguru.'

So... if u try 2 become 1 with akal purkh in your current life u will have 2 reincarnate as another human, but my question is, in your life that u are gonna b reincarnated into will u know who u were in your last life? ireally wanna merge with akal but how much meditation do i do how much sewa and stuff like that? I do about 15 mins of Simran a day, I give my parents sewa but dont do it at gurdwara? is that enough ?

(REPLY)

Sat Nam. For seva to really BE seva, it is service that is given, offered humbly in the Name of God, and without the desire for any reward -- including Liveration! It's not a trade off, with x number of hours of simran and or seva equalling merging with God. God is already within you, and within every other human being, and in this lifetime we were each given, it is our opportunity to discover that God within. Depending upon individual karma and what the predominant thought or vibration that you have with you at the moment of your death will determine whether or not you will be reborn, and if so, where and when. Earth is a school where we are sent to learn to be humane, kind, generous, selfles, in other words, saintly so that we are not hiding the Divine light within. Love of God - devotion is the easiest way to "reach" God, and remember, love is not a business arrangement: i.e. I'll do this if you give me that! Try reading from Siri Guru Granth Sahib until you can understand what our Shabd Guru is trying to teach us!

Blessings, SP
