Sat Sri Akaal

kidda loko. im from coventry, england, and id like to know is it wrong to be with khalistan for any reason at all. I am an extremely deep religious believer of sikhism, and when a sikh is being discriminated, i feel blood rush throughout my body as if rab is telling me to do something. So me and my friend who is also a strong faithful believer would like to join a sikh khalsa federation, but dont know how. can you help us? PLEASE...

Sat Siri Akaal. Khalistan refers to the place, presumably carved out of India, that would be an independent Khalsa country. I have never heard a Khalistani Sikh explain how non-Indian Khalsas would be treated there, or if non-Khalsas would be allowed in such a state.

You can go to http://www.sikhseek.com or to the Web generally and look up 'Khalistan'.

Of course, if you decide to "sign up" you could end up in jail, since the Khalistani movement is variably considered to be militant, radical, or equated with terrorism, at least in India. -- I don't know how the British government views this movement, but be aware that it is a very controversial movement. I suggest you do some general research on this; you can also research "Khalistan" on Sikhnet at http://www.sikhnet.com/search.
