Do Sikhs believe in rituals?
(REPLY) Sat Nam. If you are talking about consistent repetitions of acts, without conscious reverent intent, then of course Sikhs do not "believe" in rituals. There are sacred procedures that Sikhs use in worship that help to augment the experience. Tthese have substance. Guru Nanak spoke of things that were prevalent in his time that were devoid of substance, but were just outer trappings. SP
