Summary of Question: | Marriage To A Gursikh |

I am not a gursikh and am not entirely certain whether I wish to become one completely. I enjoy paat, and am eager to learn more about Sikhism and develop a relationship with God. I have a friend who is a Gursikh, and I enjoy talking to him about our religion. He has also told me that he enjoys speaking with me. There is nothing impure in the nature of our relationship. I am pondering, however, whether or not he would consider marrying me if I wasn't a Gursikh. Obviously, you cannot answer what he would say - I am asking in a general way whether or not it is possible.
The major problem is that I am still attached to many of the worldly ways, and it would take a long time to cease this. Also, I am not sure how I could bring up such a topic with him.
I thank you ahead of time for your counsel.

Blessings. You are right. I could not answer for him.
The fact of this matter is that if a person aspires to consiousness and longs for a larger experience of spirit....then one has the makings of a seeker of the truth, a Gursikh.
