Date Posted:Tuesday, 7/05/2011 12:57 AM MDT

Was going through the lectures of Shri Singh Sahib, he mentioned in one of his teachings that you must get at 2.30 am and do your sadhna.Eager to follow but wanted to ask for achieving that what could be the ideal time to sleep and do the evening prayer and have dinner, plus is it possible to start right away at that time even if one is willing to do so?

Chirag Ji – Waheguru Ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji ki Fateh!

The 2.5 hours before the sun rises are the easiest time to meditate – when the ethers are clear and quiet; before the hustle and bustle of the day begins. It is best not to eat after 18:00 hrs and to eat an easily digestible meal such as kitcheree in the evening. Rather than a radical change in your habits, just start moving your bedtime earlier each evening until you are going to sleep shortly after sundown. Set your alarm and when it goes off, DON’T THINK about getting up or not getting up. Just do it. More here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qR6LJS0qSu4

In the Name of the Guru, the Light of every Sikh, and the Holy Naam which holds the world.

humbly, …..G
