Sat nam! ("sat nam" means there is One Truth inside all of us - the same in you and the same in me.)
There is no need to convert. If you are a Christian, just Christ yourself and live as Christ lived. If you are a Jew, then you must behave very chosenly. If you are Buddhist, then live in your buddhi (your awareness.)
Living in kindnes and Truth is what's important. Not my truth, nor your truth. . . not personal nor circumstantial truth. . . but universal truth.
It's how the universe works.
I don't know where you live, but if you feel attracted to the Sikh lifestyle, then find some Sikhs in your area and hang out with them. See how you feel. If you are truly meant to live as a Sikh, then the Guru will take care of it and it will happen naturally.
As for meditation. . . meditation is a technology to clean the mind and go deep within yourself to connect to the Infinity within you. You must learn it from someone who understands it. If you send an email and tell me where you are, I will try to help you find a teacher near you.
All love in Divine, .....G
