Summary of Question:	Did Guru Ji Say By Wearing Hats Youll Die

Today I was searching the net when I found that someone had said that guru Gobind Singh gi said that any one who wheres a hat will die seven lives. That realy didn't make sence to me. So my question to you is, IS THAT TRUE?

The wearing of hats was not an issue in the time of the Guru's. There is nothing in the writings of the Siri Guru Granth Sahib that refer's to hats.

THe mention of hats came about during the time when Sikhs were under the rule of the British. During this colonial rule the mention of 'no hats' for Sikhs was brought up in defence of our "spiritual attire" gifted to us in the Rehit Marayada of Guru Gobind SIngh as we were being forced to take off the turban.
