waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ki fateh!

i have question regarding..amrit..how will come to know..i mean lets say that i m doing paat..but am not able to concentrate on paat..but keep doing paat..so does that mean that later on guru ji will be happy with me and he will call me to take amrit..even though i can't concentrate..and about love for him..does that mean that if my mind is not stable during paat..then i don't have love for him in my heart..will he ever call me?

waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ki fateh!

Wahe Guru Ji Ka Khalsa,
Wahe Guru Ji Ki Fateh.

The time of your union with God is already written on your forehead. When Guru calls you is perfect - it isn't something that you can force to happen. So just be where you are and keep doing what you can do and don't worry.

What is important is that you concentrate on Paath. It is better to do less Paath but do it with all of your concentration than to do more but make it a ritual where your mind wanders. What's needed is your concentrated awareness and your love. Do fewer banis with more love and concentration - you will see the changes.

Mind is always unstable. The heart is what anchors the mind. So - look in your heart and not your mind - you'll find the love in your heart even if your mind can't keep focused. And remember - Guruji is not someone we have to please, like a parent. Guruji is there to guide us along our spiritual path with love. Do what you can do and remember it's enough. Who you are and what you can do is perfect for the Guru.

Hope this answers your questions.

All love,

GPK
