It is very comforting to know that there are others out there wanting to know the answers to some questions.
My question is about Sat Sang's. I know a Sikh family who really religiously believes in a Mata Ji and goes to Sat Sang maybe a few times in a week.
I was asked to go with them a few times, but I dont feel very comfortable going. WHen you go there, I was told you are to bow your head to a picture of another Mata Ji and then you sit down and someone, in hindi, explains some parts of the Guru Granth Sahib, as well as other religions. I am just asking because I was always taught that we dont believe in things like that, and I just want to be clear. I just find that instead of spending 2 or 3 hours in Sat Sang, that you can spend those 2, 3 hours at the Gurudwara.
Thank you so much.

Sat Siri Akaal. You're last line is correct. This topic has been covered on this forum before. Look up search word "bow" and you will see posts that talk about bowing before human babajis (or other teachers such as Mata Ji you describe). Guru ang sang,
