Is it wrong or just politically incorrect for a sikh to engange in activities that are, in reality harmless, but appear as disrespectful? For example, dancing in a video with a scantily dressed woman....

Sat Sri Akal,

There is no such thing as political correctness, etc. This is all made up by society. Fifteen or 20 years ago people would most probably not have even known what being "politically correct" mean. Sikhi and the Truth, however, do not change with time, society or anything else. It is always true.

So the answer to your question is, does dancing in a video with a scantily clad woman somehow make you a better person or a better Sikh? It has nothing to do with being harmless. It is whether or not your actions lead you astray from the true path that the Gurujis laid out for us.

Gur Fateh,
HSD
