thank-you very much for taking time to answer our queries.
its truly appreciated.
my question may sound silly and if its offensive in anyway i apologize.
my mother used to tell me incidents from our Gurus life as bedtime stories. a particular one created a wonder.
Guru Nanak Dev ji once attended the masjid and sat with his feet toward the Quran. when asked why he said god was everywhere so if he changed the position of his feet wouldnt he still point them at god?
i attend gurudwara daily and cant help but compare it to that incident. we cant point our feet to the Guru Granth Sahib ( even the thought seems revolting) we respect Guruji too much. but then isnt god everywhere?
sorry for such a long q. THANK YOU. your site is indispensible.
urs tuly-veenu.

Yes, God is everywhere. But not everyone is Guru Nanak. He was teaching a lesson, not trying to be disrespectful. We are devoted students. We just need to learn that lesson and remain respectful.
