i really need help with something i am an college student and i am majoring in pre med. i used to love studying science and lately i been listening to alots of sikh seminars and i have second thoughts. when ever i am sitting in class trying to learn biology the thought of like some things that are different in biology and what relgion teaches us is really different. and i dont know what to believe my relgion or class. i start asking myself why am i learning this and i cant study it. i hope u could understand my problem i dont think i am describing it very well. thanks for your help

Sat Sri Akal,
I don't think Sikhi teaches anything that contradicts science at all. Science and Sikhi are two different things, with science being a subset of our dharma. Remember, science is just something that tries to explain our world, it does a pretty good job of it but it is continuously being revised as more and more is learned.
On the other hand, Sikhi is never revised. Guru Nanak Dev Ji got a hukum from Waheguru to spread the truth, and that is what Sikhi is all about.
If you are still confused, maybe you can give a little more detail about what you find contradictory. Please write back if you want to.
