Is it ok for an amritdhari to marry a non amritdhari sikh?

(REPLY) Sat Nam. What do you mean, "OK"? Is it forbidden anywhere? I don't think so. Will it cause problems in your marriage? That's what should be considered, because you want to be able to share the same lifestyle and aims and goals in life, and raise your children in harmony with shared beliefs. Since we believe a marriage is the union of two bodies merged in one soul, then it would be preferable if both were Amritdhari, but I don't know that it is "required." Blessings, SP
