Summary of Question:Nigure Ka Hai Nav Bura ???
Date Posted:Wednesday, 12/27/2000 1:17 PM MST

waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh.

Am a bit confised - Gurbani says "Nigure ka hai Nav Bura" but i do not think that i understand this pankti very well for i beleive waheguru ji is all blessing and merciful plus gurbani also say "From the One Light, the entire universe welled up. So who is good, and who is bad? (pg - 1349)"
So what does 'NiGura' means here ??? are non-beleivers bad ??? because in present scenario where everywhere people are fighting in the name of religion i have seen many people turning away from religion (faith) and living a neutral good decent life and helping themselves and others in need of help.

Greetings to you in the Name of God the light of every soul and in the Name of Guru the life of every Sikh.

Dear one, the one without the "Guru" is nigura. They are not good or bad. It is not even a question of which religion one belongs too.

In this time, the "Guru" is key to open the understanding of God. You can only experience "God" through the channel of the "Guru". By the Grace of God, some people have this in their life and some do not. The one's who have a "Guru" are blessed, not good or bad. They may not use this blessing. They may squander this gift. The one's without Guru in this life, may get it later on in life or in a next life.

The blessing of Wahe Guru is that we are all part of this creation and we all must one day realize this.

Read the "Jap Ji Sahib" translation at under English translation. Raed this translation out loud to yourself for the next 40 days. Learn to understand it. It will answer all your questions.
