This refres to a question by one of the visitors of your site that "which seva is more important..........." and your subsequent reply.

As far as my understanding goes - daily visit to gurudwara is ok if everything is fine at home. But one should not leave home in a mess and look forward to visit gurudwara. The seva of 'elderly and kids' is more important than visiting gurudwara. Instead one should do 'nitnam' and seva of elderly at home itself which would be a true devotion towards god. By visiting gurudwara daily you would not be close to god rather one should perform his duties (karam) towards its family alongwith prayers and help to create an atmosphere full of love which will ultimately take you close to the god.

If I have to choose between the visit to a Gurudwara or helping elderly. I would choose to help elderly.

This is my own thinking and hope you would agree on this.
