FFirst of all I would like to thank you all for having this website because it is a great guidance tool. Lately I have been trying to find myself and all sorts of question emerge though my mind. One thought that I cannot figure out is “having fake relation ship with anybody by that I mean friend, cousin or First of all I would like to thank you all for having this website because it is a great guidance tool. Lately I have been trying to find myself and all sorts of question emerge though my mind. One thought that I cannot figure out is “having fake relation ship with anybody by that I mean friend, cousin or even siblings”. Are you lying to your self if you continue those relationships, when you feel that the other party has betrayed you and you no longer want to carry those relationships the same way it use to be. Or should you cut your self from that person because that person never tries to put the effort to resolve the relationship. I don’t know what to do I feel a lot better when I decide in my mind to cut of the relation because I don’t have worry about that person anymore. And I feel more anxiety and feel like I am being totally fake if carry on with that relationship. Please give me an idea what would be a right thing to do.

(REPLY) Sat Nam. You've already answered your own question. Best to follow your own instincts and be true to yourself. Shakespeare said, "This above all, to thine own self be true, and thou cans't not then be false to any man." Why should you continue a "friendship" that is false? Either tell the other person your honest feelings or just let it go. Do what feels righteous and honest to you. SP
