Ssa to all the wonderful people in here.

I belong to a good family, have my share of a good education and worked for a while as well.

But it`s been a few years now, that I quit my job, started looking for new avenues ,but didnt succeed.

Nothing is working out for me, with me, as in, i have given n numbers of interviews, i get calls, its all the same, I end up not getting one.

Then, i am asked to meet and see so many guys ,for marriage purpose, arranged by family
again, something or the other happens and nothing comes out of it.

But....what is wrong...is what i don`t understand... I know, you wouldnt be able to help me in this...but I had to write in, just maybe...you could tell me...what should I do...

I have started doing paath, more then i used to after all this started happenning....so somewhere deep down i feel, Is this the way Baba wanted me to realise the essence of it....and how many years more should i wait for my life to take some concrete shape, as I am almost 29 now.

Or is it that ..i have not taken up Amrit ?

I know, its a battle between my concious and sub concious....

Help me, if any of you could.

Chardi Kla!!

(REPLY) Sat Nam. Actually, there may be absolutely nothing "wrong" with what is happening in your life, but rather it is unfolding according to God's plan. Possibly it is that your lack of "success" in the material realm is causing you to focus more on God and Guru, and after all, that is the true purpose of our lives -- to experience the God within by the grace of the Guru! There are two paths to God, Aspiration and Desperation. Depending upon our efforts, it may take more than one lifetime to reach the goal. The path is easy for some people, difficult for others. Meanwhile, do recite all your banis, and do seva as much as you can, live as Khalsa, and if you want the ultimate blessing of Guru, then commit yourself to give your head to the Guru by taking Amrit. Blessings and best wishes, SP
