i have a ? regarding the craze in India and the rest of the world about the fact that the biggest achievement in life is to become educated and get a good job and have money/success! i am just sooooooo disgusted at the fact that instead of putting kids in the direction of spirtualism and showing the kids the true goal of life (to become one with God) parents are pushing more on the education than the spirtualistic side. They will let their kids live like the westerners and let them walk and talk like them. isn't it time that we get the message across that the ONLY biggest goal in life is NOTHING more than spirtualism. Maybe if we bring God into our lives, we wouldn't worry as much, maybe we wouldn't suffer as much from loses, maybe life would be a little easier to live, maybe the lives of the kids will shape up for the better! i just cant take this rat game anymore....students in india commit sucicide because they fail to recognize true goal in life...i'm, not saying one should stop studying...its just that spirtualism is more important! i just wish sometimes that parents(mine as well) would just stop putting soooooo much pressure on teh kids and instead let them work on their own pace with the guidance and help of the guru to achieve success and piece in life....please tell me if i am right or wrong according to sikhism. please excuse my mistakes...

One of the reasons we have established the Miri Piri Academy in Amritsar is so that our young Sikh children can go to a school where they get not only academic education but they learn spiritual values. The purpose of life is ONLY to realize GOD, and everything else is given us as a challenge and opportunity to be the best humans we can be, while recognizing that we are now, and have always been Divine beings.
